I've tried picking up instruments and singing since I was a teenager, but it turns out after 10 years trying I'm still mediocre at both. Composing in midi is where my heart is, and I'm hoping some other musicians can make the songs I write come to life more than I can. My strong suit is earworms since my background is in dance pop, but I can write anywhere on the rock/electronic/pop spectrum. I'd much rather watch the band rock out with riffs and melodies that make them shine and in general I don't have a ton of interest in performing, but I can play keys well enough to do basic backup and sing well enough to harmonize. I can also pre-make synthesizer parts that can be played as samples live, I just don't have enough stage presence the desire to be a solo electronic act myself. This is the type of thing I make when writing on my own, but my main goal would be to compose things specifically to help the band I'm working with play their best so I'm open to integrating a new style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CybZU9lBhWc
