We help older generations with the downsizing process as they move into condos and retirement communities. We offer a full-range of services including downsizing, packing, moving, clean outs, estate sales, and unpacking. Plus, we have a great time doing it! ABOUT THE POSITION This is not your typical moving position - we hire based on “soft-skills” as well as physical strength. Most of your day in the field is exactly what you’d expect, moving furniture and getting a great workout. With Managed Moves, you and your team will go the extra mile to serve the needs of our clients. QUALIFICATIONS - 1+ years labor experience (preferred) - 1+ years customer service experience (preferred) - 2+ years non-CDL truck driving experience - 21+ years old (required for insurance) - Ability to obtain a DOT medical card - Healthy lifestyle enabling you to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 70lbs) - Clean criminal background in the last 5 years - Reliable transportation - Smart phone REQUIRED SKILLS Due to our very specific and sensitive clientele we require the following from our team members: - Excellent communication skills and a calm demeanor, even in stressful situations - Good at developing a compassionate rapport with the client to instill trust and convey competence CLASSIFICATION & COMPENSATION Starting at $18.50/hr. Increase to $19.50/hr after successful completion of lead training and certification. Increase to $20.50/hr as a trainer. Plus tips and annual reviews - We pay daily and weekly overtime pay - Tips - PTO WORK HOURS 30-45/hrs a week during business hours from Monday – Saturday from 8am-6pm Part-time options available TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT We pride ourselves on creating paths for growth for our team members. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Managed Moves is an essential service to those in the senior community. Masks are still required in the communities that we work in. We do require that all new employees are fully vaccinated or have begun their vaccination schedule prior to employment.
