Come to The Lakehouse Bakery and learn the basics of cake Happy Birthday! looks great on a cake, especially when you decorated it yourself!  Come to The Lakehouse Bakery and learn the basics of cake decorating.  How to make a buttercream frosting, how to fill and use a pastry bag, how to split, fill and frost a cake, how to pipe borders and a bunch of tips, tricks and techniques will all be part of this hands on class.  Each student will go home with the cake they decorate in class as well as a packet of recipes to make great cakes at home.   A 6" round cake, frosting, pastry bags and all other equipment needed for the class will be provided.   This class is best suited for people 16 and older.  Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing as you may be standing in one space for a period of time.    Class is limited to 5 so Chef Keegan can give more individual attention to each student.
