Mediate Management Company is immediately hiring a crew of hard-working people to remove snow in the Back Bay this winter season! If you are interested in shoveling and applying ice melt to sidewalks and walkways before, during, or after snowstorms, please email [email protected] with your cellular phone number and email address so we can contact you for next steps. Interested candidates are welcome to stop by our office to complete an application on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. We are located at 4 Bunker Hill Industrial Park, Boston, MA 02129. Candidates are welcome to park in any open parking space in our parking lot. When you arrive, please ring the doorbell, and let the person know you are here to fill out a snow removal application. This job pays $28.00 per hour. Candidates must: • Have ability to work outdoors in the cold in adverse conditions (cold, icy, snowy weather) • Show up to work prepared with proper clothing to work outside (winter boots that repel water, jackets, gloves, hats, and other winter attire) • Ability to perform heavy manual labor to lift, push, move, carry objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds, unassisted • Be able to be constantly moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching • Have manual dexterity – ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects • Have arm-hand steadiness – ability to keep hand and arm steady while moving arm or while holding arm and hand in one position • Have static strength – ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry snow/ ice • Punctual and dependable with reliable transportation to get to headquarters • Understand and follow oral and written instructions • A working cell phone so we can communicate with you • Ability to work independently as well as in a crew situation, as assigned Thank you for your interest.
