Annual run/walk to advocate for an end Domestic Violence in Hammond, LA and Tangipahoa Parish. 5K Purple Run, is a brand new run/walk to bring awareness to domestic violence here in Hammond and Tangipahoa Parish. The inaugural run will be held November 13th, at Cate Square Park, 8am, run begins at 8:30am. Donations will be accepted in lieu of registration fees this first year. 100% of all donations will be given to SAFE, Southeast Advocates for Family Empowerment, Hammond's local advocacy. Come dressed in all purple to show your support!! Raffles will be held the day of the event, including gift cards for Bass Pro Shop, Honey Baked Ham, PJ's Coffee, K-Team Printing and a very special Grand Prize!! You will have to come to find out what it is!
