On December 28, 1884 a fire destroyed the Blake Opera House (300 block 6th St) and it's adjoining hotel in which 3 people perished. December 28th, 2021 marks the 137th anniversary of the fire that destroyed the Blake Opera House and hotel. Today, the building houses Social on Sixth, Roberta , 6th Street Theatre, Longshot Vinyl and Perennial Soaps. Beginning at 7pm, a seance/healing circle will be hosted by Michael Sorensen, local Medium and Reiki Master in the building where the Blake once stood. Michael has selected the Racine County Food Bank to receive $10 of every ticket sold. Seating is VERY limited for this event!
