Basic Handgun Marksmanship Class The Basic Handgun Marksmanship classes use the Smokeless Range Laser Simulator. This system can provide instant feedback during training, without any of the recoil of actual firearms and is a great way to begin your firearms training or improve your skills. The class focuses primarily on firearms safety and fundamentals. Students have a choice between using the provided training pistols, a student-owned semi-auto 9mm (Full-size or compact only, sub-compacts are not supported) or a student-owned .38 or .357 caliber revolver. For the safety of all the participant's ABSOLUTELY NO LIVE AMMUNITION WILL BE PERMITTED TO BE PRESENT AT THIS CLASS.
