Join us for a two part Moon and Skincare Workshop series at Rising Co! Nada, MoonGathering and MoonDweller have joined together to create Moon potent Skincare products that we want you to be a part of! Together, we will be creating magical soaks and sugar scrubs in sync with the Moon phases to honor the natural rhythms of when our bodies want to release/detox and when they want to absorb/nourish. With the nature of the Moon cycles, the New Moon/Waxing phase blesses us with an opportunity to breathe in, absorb, build energy and increase our strength and the Full Moon/Waning phase gives us an opportunity to breathe out, dry out, detox and sweat out. Let’s harness these beautiful lunation cycles by joining together and using nature's gifts to to take a conscious self care act for our entire body. Because these four phases are split into two types of energies, Breathing in (New Moon/Waxing phase) and Breathing out (Full Moon/Waning phase), we will have two magical nights to work with these energies. On November 19th during the Full Moon we will create salt soaks for a full body detox and on December 3rd during the New Moon we will create sugar scrubs for a full body nourishment! How each night works: Learn about the Moon: Astrologer Shannon will beautifully inform us on why we are using these cycles and what the current Moon is offering us and how we can work with it. Learn about the Ingredients: Samantha, creator and owner of Nada, will introduce you to the beautiful selection of ingredients you have to choose from to create your personalized scrub/soak for the Moon. Create! Pick your vessel and choose from each station (salt/sugar, essential oils, oils, tinctures, gem essences, herbs) how you want to customize your product depending on what the Moon has to offer you and your current personal needs. To close the evening Shannon will guide us through a mediation that settles us into the night with the Moon and with your new scrub/soak.
