This class covers basic brake adjustments as well as troubleshooting some of the worrisome problems that can plague your bike's stoppers. So you've got the basics under your belt. You're able to survive flat-fixes on the road in the middle of nowhere, and assist others in a similar predicament. Our next class takes it to the next level where things start getting a little more serious. Your loyal bike has been making some horrible squeaking noises while slowing down. And your brake levers pull inwards almost to the point that they touch the handlebar. Hmm, could I even make a panic stop? We'll cover basic brake adjustments as well as troubleshooting some of the worrisome problems that can plague your bike's stopping system. You'll learn how to identify worn cables, worn brake pads, bent rims and importantly: how to know when to say "enough" and bring your bike in to the shop for help. Bringing you own bike isn't necessary for this class as instruction will take place on a shop bike. And don't forget the best part, its FREE.
