We are often told when we sin, that if we just ask for forgiveness, God forgives us and throws our sin into a sea of forgetfulness, never to come up again. But forgiveness does not erase consequences. The terms forgiveness and no consequences are mutually exclusive. While God does forgive us when we confess our sins, the seeds of what we've planted always produces a harvest, in some form or other. We ALWAYS reap what we sow, more than we sow, and oftentimes later than we sow; but we will DEFINITELY REAP! Joyce is a minister, teacher, author, life coach, conference speaker and marriage counselor. She is the Executive Director of Joyce Lester Ministries where she teaches a weekly interdenominational Bible study, and hosts a weekly addictions recovery group.
