Learn the basics of punch needle rug making. Class includes a kit with all materials. Design your own rug or work from the artist's design Learn the basics of a fun, easy and accessible craft. No experience necessary. Choose from 5 different designs -artist-made kits will include an oxford punch needle, rug yarn, monk's cloth with pre-printed design and an instruction booklet. Or, students can choose to make their own simple design. Fiber Artist Kirsten Ervin will teach how to threading the punch tool, and the basics of punch needle embroidery. Use your rug as a beautiful wall hanging or a design for a pillow or trivet.
