Holiday Bike Parade What: Show off your holiday creativity by decorating your bicycle with lights, ornaments, ribbon, tinsel and other items! The best decorated bikes will be chosen and awarded prizes. We will also be joined by a familiar friend- smiling is his favorite! When: 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. Arrive to the library's lobby early to check-in. Where: The Florence-Lauderdale Public Library, 350 N. Wood Ave. The parade will start in the library parking lot, circle around Wilson Park, and end at the library. The community will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of this festive evening. Cost: Free! Who may participate: All ages- Children, teens and adults! Deadline to register: 5 pm on Monday, November 29 Where to register: Eventbrite Prizes: The best decorated bikes will be chosen and awarded prizes! Keep an eye out for prizes from Shoals Symphony, Keelan Walker Photography, and Shell's Christmas Tree Farm! Sponsors: Florence-Lauderdale Public Library, Shoals Symphony, Keelan Walker Photography, and Shell's Christmas Tree Farm Rules: Children 6 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and all riders must wear a helmet.
