The New York Lottery has announced a top-prize ticket for the November 3 evening Take 5 drawing was sold at a stationery store on Palisades Ave in Yonkers. The ticket is worth $21,506.
The Hudson Valley winner will share the top-prize with a winner in Rockville, who will also receive a prize of $21,506. In this case, the lottery ticket was sold at a C-Town grocery in Rockville Center.
The winner has up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize money.
Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The winning ticket sold in Yonkers was for the Nov, 3, 10:30 p.m. drawing.
The winning numbers drawn were: 03-08-34-35-39. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 8.77, but the odds of winning the jackpot are substantially higher.
