Bridge HIV, at the San Francisco Department of Public Health is looking for people living with genital herpes (HSV-2) to participate in an epidemiological study to help better understand the disease. While there is no cure for genital herpes, there is ongoing research to develop a vaccine against the virus. You may be eligible if: o You are 18 years or older o Are newly diagnosed or have been diagnosed with genital herpes HSV-2, o Have had at least one outbreak an HSV-2 lesion within the past year, o Are HIV negative.
