Landscape Construction Worker Location: Novato, CA Pay rate: $20 - $23 per hour depending on experience. Full time Apply to [email protected] We are looking for someone to join our team. Here is what we are looking for: The Landscape Construction Worker is responsible for working as a team member under the direct supervision of the Landscape Construction Foreman. Responsible for performing landscape maintenance duties, worksite safety and exhibits pride and quality in workmanship. Responsibilities and Duties: • Prepares and stock truck for the day. • Perform landscape maintenance duties: mowing, blow, prune and weed. • Plant and pest ID. • Irrigation repair: trouble shoot and repair • Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles. • Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality. • Use assigned tools and equipment in proper/safe manner. • Maintain a clean and safe job site. • Conduct a variety of jobsite landscape construction tasks. • Always represent the company’s best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism Qualifications and Skills • Enjoy plants and the outdoors • 2 year previous residential and/or commercial landscape construction experience preferred. • Previous Experience in carpentry, masonry, and landscape. • Experience building decks, fences, pergolas, gates, etc. • Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees. • Ability to work with a team and follow directions. • Trustworthy, hardworking, reliable. • MUST HAVE Valid California Driver’s License and be able to drive. • Bilingual is a plus. Physical Requirements • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in all different weather conditions. • Required lifting up to 50 pounds. • Able to frequently climb stairs and hillsides and walk on uneven ground and plant landscapes.
