Hello, I am looking for a new home for my three-year old calico tortoiseshell cat. Her name is Jessica, and she is absolutely affectionate, sweet, and playful. She has a lot of energy; when she wants to play with you, she will pick her favorite toy and bring it to you. She loves being the center of attention, and she is perfect for someone who is retired (or has a lot of time for her companionship and her need to socialize) and has a spacious home. Jessica does get annoyed easily when people pet her back too much. (She prefers chin scratches for a brief amount of time.) She does not bite hard or scratch, but she will give a few warnings (by licking your hand) if she feels overstimulated or upset from being petted. She is not compatible with small children or other dogs or cats in the house. She has a history of trying to provoke other cats and dogs in her former foster home. She also has periodontal disease, and she will require an annual dental cleaning at the vet. She also needs someone who can brush her teeth daily. She is a few pounds overweight. She can use the litter. There is no rehoming fee for Jessica. I will make sure that she has all of her vaccinations up-to-date, and I will provide all medical records. I will also provide three weeks of food. (I feed her with high quality, no grain wet food and air-dried chicken pieces sprinkled on top. I can give you her three scratching posts, a bag of litter, and other supplies too, if needed. All that I ask for is three pictures of your home to make sure that there is enough space for her. I love Jessica, but due to my intense, full-time job and my classes, I don't have a lot of time to spend with her. I don't want her to be lonely for many hours a day anymore. I just want to make sure that she has a loving family or a pet owner who will cherish her and give her a fulfilling life. If you are interested in adopting her, please call me or text me.
