Bring your friends and family for our biannual work days at Camp Henry! Bring your friends and family and join us at Camp Henry for our biannual work days! Serve alongside fellow campers, alumni, volunteers, and staff to help improve camp!   All ages are welcome. We ask that all minors are accompanied and supervised by an adult. If you would like your 14-17 year old to attend a work day on their own, please contact Leigha at [email protected] to see if we will be able to accommodate this request. This is a great opportunity for teenagers who need volunteer or service hours, yet we need to be sure we have staffing available for those interested. Lunch will be provided.  Release forms are required for all attendees. Please fill a form out for each participant and bring them with you the day of the event.  18 and Over Release Form Under 18 Release Form Please wear closed toed shoes and long pants. If available, please feel free to bring work gloves, safety glasses, leaf rakes, chainsaws, shovels, drills/impact drivers, and clothes that can get dirty. We ask that participants wear masks when they are within 6ft of those not a part of their family or cohort, and anytime indoors. Projects that you might see for a work day might include the following: Cutting trees down, cutting into firewood, splitting & stacking Leaf and stick clean upCleaning, sanding & staining Cleaning horse tack, saddles & horse gearBuilding log benches for fire circles Planting grassSpreading wood chipsGeneral building maintenanceWashing windows of cabins and other buildingsBuilding firewood storage for camp out sitesBuilding assorted structures around campProjects chosen for the work day will communicated about one week prior to the event date.
