Burglar Wears $190 Air Jordans To Steal $900 From Temecula Biz

TEMECULA, CA — A burglar's snappy basketball shoes might lead to his arrest. The young male shown in the attached flier is suspected of smashing a glass door at Sharetea in Temecula and stealing $900 from a deposit bag hidden in the restaurant's kitchen locker. He was wearing new Air Jordan 13 Obsidian basketball kicks that were released from Nike in September. The high-end retro sneakers retail for $190. The alleged burglary occurred Oct. 29 at the Sharetea location, 30070 Temecula Parkway. The Southwest Sheriff's Station released information Thursday after obtaining surveillance video of the incident. The suspect is described as a young adult or juvenile male who was wearing gray sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask — and the nice sneakers. He had a getaway driver who was piloting a white SUV (shown). Anyone with information about the commercial burglary is asked to contact the Southwest Sheriff's Station at 951-696-3000.
