SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring Santa's grand arrival, is set for Nov. 19 at Hillsdale Shopping Center. The ceremony will feature festive music, playful strolling characters and other entertainment, with San Mateo Mayor Rick Bonilla in attendance. A synchronized holiday tree and fountain light show will also run regularly on Friday and weekend evenings beginning Nov. 20.
