I have a baby red ear slider for rehoming ASAP I cant keep him due to having two other rescued hatchlings and when they grow they will need more space than I have in my home. The gender is unknown until they reach at least 4inches. He/She was rescued out of a pool and was not doing so well when he was found. But he is doing good now and has even gown a bit but is still under 3 inches. Please keep in mind that this turtle has the potential of growing up to 12 inches in diameter. He/She will eventually need a minimum of a 90gal tank, a floating dock so they can come completely out of the water to bask, a large filter, and a UVB light, and a UVA heat light. The proper set up can cost hundreds of dollars Without the proper set up the turtle can develop bone diseases and other illnesses. If you take my turtle home please be aware that he/she WILL be a long term (decades!) and pricey investment dispite him being 'free'.
