SPRINGFIELD – State Representative Mike Murphy (R-Springfield) is partnering with experts from the University of Illinois System to host a free information session for families and students to learn about the college admissions and financial aid process. The session will also address topics and questions specific to first generation college interested students. The event is open to all and will take place at the University of Illinois Springfield on Tuesday, November 30 at 6 p.m. "Whether you're a student in high school, the parent of a student, considering applying to college soon, or the parent of a younger child working on planning ahead, this information night is for you," said Murphy.
