PALM DESERT, CA — A two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Palm Desert left one person dead, and three others injured, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. The crash, which required victims to be rescued from the wreckage, was reported at 8:28 p.m. on Washington Street at Avenue 42. One person died at the scene, and three others suffered injuries described as minor to moderate by Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. One other person declined medical treatment, according to the agency. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
