Here are the top stories today in St. Louis: A St. Louis man who robbed three banks in St. Louis in 2020 was sentenced Friday to six years in federal prison. In a combined plea and sentencing hearing held Friday by Zoom, Thomas Joseph Intagliata, 57, admitted robbing a U.S. Bank on Feb. 11, a First Community Credit Union on Feb. 28 and the Together Credit Union on March 12. Intagliata admitted all three robberies to police. Intagliata apologized during the hearing, saying his actions stemmed from an opiate addiction. (STLtoday.com) The St. Louis County Department of Public Health announced its COVID-19 vaccine rollout for children ages 5-11 will be put on pause next Monday due to shipment delays. The department already had 300 vaccine appointments for children this Saturday at the John C. Murphy Health Center that will not be affected. Health officials said they originally planned to give more children shots on Monday, but that process is now delayed.
