HARPER WOODS, MI — A 57-year-old armed man was taken into police custody Thursday morning after a he barricaded himself inside a Harper Woods home on Lochmoor Street near Harper Avenue and Vernier Road, multiple outlets reported. The man peacefully surrendered to officers at 8:52 a.m. after a six hour standoff, police said. No injuries were reported, police said.
