Code Section 54974) for an unscheduled vacancy. Residents of the City of Albany are encouraged to apply for the vacancy listed below: Charter Review Committee - 1 Position - Appointment by Mayor Gary Meeting Schedule: 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM except August (recess). The Charter Review Committee advises the City Council on proposed changes to the City Charter. These proposed changes may be generated by the City Council or recommended to the City Council by the Charter Review Committee.
