WORCESTER, MA — A man caught sleeping on the couch in someone else's home early Friday morning was arrested and is now facing multiple charges, including breaking-and-entering.
According to Worcester police, two people living in a Hartshorn Road home woke up just before 6 a.m. and found the stranger sleeping on their couch. They began yelling at him, and he ran out of the home, police said.
Before he left, the intruder pocketed a wallet and car keys. He also left behind "about twenty bags of what appeared to be crack cocaine and a crack pipe," police said.
Shortly after the man fled the home, police tracked him down near the corner of Chandler and June streets. He was charged with breaking-and-entering in the night with intent to commit a felony, larceny from a building and possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.
