Description

This beautiful 7-month-old female Japanese harlequin-colored Holland Lop is looking for a great home. She is used to free roaming in a room, is reliably litterbox trained, and hasn't chewed wood furniture. Not spayed. Gets along with my guinea pigs and dogs. We are her second owners. Her first owner, who'd bought her from a rabbit breeder in PA, said that she's super sweet, loves pets and cuddles, is super spunky and regularly gets the zoomies, is not shy, is used to other pets, and will run right up to you to be pet. When we adopted her recently and put her on the other side of a tall gate with the intent to spay her and neuter our male rabbit and bond them and have been waiting a few weeks for the vet appointment, she seems to like the male rabbit but has not wanted us to hold her. We had specifically been seeking a rabbit that likes to be held (which we know is rare for rabbits), and she nips us when we try to hold her. Her previous owner held her no problem holding her (or otherwise) and rehomed her due to lack of space and time, so it's possible that the presence of the male nearby in our home is causing these behavior issues. She is used to lots of time outside her cage and is happiest when given space to free roam daily. She will come with a litter box, hideout, transition food and hay, her toys, and her favorite rabbit stuffy that she snuggles with. I can supply a small transport container if needed. You'll need your own metal wire x-pen or similar for her to live in if you don't plan to let her free-roam in a room. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
