I've used it indoor and outdoors. There are hard water spots inside the tub that are white but when water is added to it, you cannot see them. The tubes to the filter have algae stained on them. Not sure how to clean those properly. I just hosed everything off and wiped it down so it's ready to go. Not sure how many gallons but it takes about 4 1/2 of those buckets full to fill. The last picture is what it looks like when all put together and my turtle who use to live in it. $120 or best offer for everything. Will not sell pieces individually. 🐢
