Arie’s Dogland is looking for a new groomer! We are a small, local, reward-based and low-stress facility, looking to add a third groomer to our team. Please reach out to us if you think you meet the following requirements! - Professional grooming experience required. - Dogs are not stacked, and are sent home as soon as they are finished. - Must be able to comfortably lift 50lbs. - Must be willing to go slowly and be patient with dogs and puppies; we (and our clients) are more concerned with a gentle experience than anything else. - All holidays off. - Somewhat flexible scheduling, but workdays can include: Tuesday-Saturday. Likely Mondays also, in 2022. - 50/50% commission, plus tips. Work day typically starts at 7am or 8am, but could be flexible also. - Help with holiday grooming would be ideal, but starting in the new year may be an option. - Minor/basic end-of day cleaning will be involved, such as vacuuming around your station, rinsing tubs, and laundry. - Positive attitude and attention to detail are a must, as well as being a team player! - Must be either vaccinated for covid-19, or willing to do weekly covid tests.
