Swann Communications is seeking a Receiving Associate to join their team. The Receiving Associate is the critical role in Swann Operations. This position will be responsible for the daily completion of receiving duties; accurate accounting & reporting of inbound merchandise and returns As a Receiving Associate at Swann Communications, you will: Help to maintain Inventory control accuracy Log Incoming stock, returns and supplies Complete accurate computer input of returns by 12:00 pm. daily. Perform inventory counts of items received in returns Maintain warehouse appearance Coordinate with other co-workers to maintain the receiving process running smoothly Required Qualifications: Intermediate knowledge of internet shipping programs: FedEx UPS, etc. 3 - 5 Years proven experience in a similar position High School Diploma or equivalent Forklift certified General understanding of warehouse / shipping operations Key Competencies To Be Successful: Continuous development - Demonstrates ongoing drive to continuously develop one’s own skills and competencies to assist the continued/ongoing growth and success of company · Team Development – Effectively scopes, plans, and controls projects; identifies, manages and delivers the resources (people, material, information, budget, time) required to succeed. · Action/Initiative - Works to meet objectives solve problems and develop business before being asked or required to do so. · Organizational Knowledge - Knowledgeable about how organization functions; knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network.
