Concrete laborer position. Applicant will be working out doors in all weather conditions. General duties will be helping set forms, raking mud (concrete), running a plate compactor, a lot of clean up work at the job site, stripping of forms after concrete is poured. These are not all of the job duties, but a general idea. It is hard work and sadly, the applicant will be doing a lot of the "grunt" work. There is room for advancement to become a concrete finisher and applicants will be trained on the job for the work. Applicant will need his/her own vehicle to get to the job sites. Because of Covid, riding with another employee in a company vehicle is not an option. About 80% of our work is in Salem, however, we have builders in Monmouth and Corvallis as well and are on those jobs every single week. Applicant will supply his/her own hand tools such as a hammer, a 5lb sledge for driving in stakes, a 4' level. All power tools are supplied by the company. Applicant will take and pass a pre-employment drug screening. We are only concerned about the hard stuff. This is not a complete job description and duties may change each day.
