Guitarist looking for tight, heavy rocking rhythm section

I’m looking for two like minded individuals in or around the Greensboro/High Point/Winston Salem area who are interested in forming a heavy power trio in the vein of Earthless/Them Crooked Vultures/ZZ Top for an all original hard rocking machine. Some improvisation skills a must but if you like Phish I doubt this is for you. Age isn’t really a big deal but over 30 probably preferred since I’m firmly a middle ager.. but don’t be too old to carry you’re own equipment (which you should actually own, play regularly, is gig ready and able to fit inside your reliable vehicle). Any gender, race or sexual orientation A OK. Don’t be a narrow minded bigot or some non accepting prick. Nobody’s s got time for that. A few expectations.. The goal would be weekly practices with intent to play out and record. I’m open to all ideas and input. Seasoned creative players with a good attitude a must. If you’ve mostly played in cover bands you’ll hate this. If you enjoy spending time working on ideas and playing your instrument this could be for you. Yes, I also play in another band but I have time to dedicate to writing songs, making it to practice, doing shows and focusing on this band. You should too. Oh sick! You’re a multi-instrumentalist! Me too! That’s awesome but if you mostly play guitar and could play bass til we find a real bass player or if you’re a drummer who’s looking to get out from behind the kit and finally use that Marshall stack you just bought.. then this isn’t necessarily for you. Commitment to your instrument and craft is important. Be a creative type player who likes to write their own parts and has the skills to self-critique those parts. Please don’t be chemically dependent on anything or into doing heavy drugs. If we’re planning the logistics to get to a show or something and your first though is “who can I ride with so I can get hammered at the show” then this definitely isn’t for you. What I bring. Years of experience on guitar, pro level gear, pro level attitude in regards to the band, easy going attitude regarding most everything else. Lots of creativity. Endless heavy riffs and the enthusiasm of a kid. Non-bullshiter with no addictions, a drivers license and two reliable cars. Normally I form bands with friends or players I already know but I moved to this area a few years ago and just haven’t met the right people yet. I tried to be light hearted in hopes of making this uncomfortable post a little less uncomfortable. I’ve made a lot of fun of the very thing I’m about to submit but I am desperately looking for players who want to put something cool together.
