Needed: A person to help with a small bird dog kennel. Duties include kennel maintenance, cleaning, bathing dogs, puppy care, socialization of puppies and assisting with husbandry practices including basic veterinary procedures such as worming, and vaccination. This is a part time position working in the mornings. Daily schedule is flexible to fit school and other work commitments. In addition, help with training may also be required. Young dogs are yard trained (obedience training) and field work with live birds to bring them to hunt ready. Ranch or farm work experience is a plus. This is an opportunity to work with an experienced bird dog trainer, and acquire skills in animal husbandry. Starting wage is $12 per hour (cash) with frequent periodic raises to $15 per hour.
