We are looking for help in our Mechanic Shop. This is a great opportunity for a driven Shop Assistant with a "can do" attitude. This person will be responsible to clean and fueling equipment (tractor-trailers and straight trucks) and provide assistance in the shop. Responsibilities and Duties: - To fuel and wash the equipment as needed - Check fluid levels - Check tire pressure, tire tread depth, and hub oil levels - Completely fills out fuel tickets - Complies with all safety, DOT, and OSHA guidelines - Adhere to company rules and regulations - Shuttles vehicles when necessary to and from various terminals to perform timely inspections, washing, etc. - Ensure cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas - Perform other tasks as directed by Service Manager or Immediate Supervisor Qualifications and Skills: - High School diploma or equivalent - Ensure cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas. - Basic computer skills - Good driving record and proven work history - Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures Licenses & Certifications Required - - Transport Worker ID Card (TWIC) Apply here --> Or Schedule a Phone Interview: Human Resources Gulf Stream Marine
