What is functional fitness training?
Functional fitness training involves exercise routines that mimic the activities of daily life. The focus is primarily on balance, core strength, endurance and multi-joint flexibility.
We believe that exercise should be a way to maintain or improve their quality of life.
This is the focus of our functional fitness classes.
​Functional fitness exercises are designed to train and develop your muscles to make it easier and safer to perform everyday activities, such as carrying groceries or playing a game of basketball with your kid.
Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together to prepare them for daily tasks by simulating your common movements that you might do at home, at work or in sports.
