We are looking for Delivery Drivers/Warehouse Associates for our Westland, MI location (38427 Webb Dr. Westland, 48185) Import Glass Corporation IGC is a family-owned and operated wholesale-only automotive replacement glass distributor. Our company's mission is to provide our customers with the best quality products, with excellent service at a competitive price. With a knowledgeable and service-oriented staff, our company has presently grown to 20 warehouse locations servicing all of California, Kentucky, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Southern Nevada, and Arizona. We have an opportunity open to join our team, as a Full-time automotive Delivery driver/Warehouse worker; * Meet delivery schedule in a timely manner * Inspect, load, and deliver automotive glass * Verify customer order is accurate – quantity and quality * Contact supervisor immediately if an error is made * Delivery of auto glass products to the customer accurately * Report any damaged items to your supervisor * Safe driving habits at all times * Must be punctual and reliable * Job includes sitting, lifting, stooping, and walking for long periods of time * Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule * Prepare customer orders – cleaning and inspecting glass * Package customer orders by providing protective materials attached to the glass * Load customer orders into delivery vehicles * Must have the adequate physical strength to frequently unload, load, and lift automotive glass weighing between 15 to 30 pounds. * Forklift experience a plus but not required.
