Specifically looking for a BLUES bassist. I realize there are good bass players out there, but I need a person that understands how the bass drives the blues: not just someone to play notes. Honestly don't have the time to try and teach someone the difference. Looking for the person that "feels" the music (a "pocket" bassist if that term helps) Vocals a plus, but not necessary. This is a working band. No drama, no drugs, no egos, we are older persons (if that bothers you). As Luther Allison said, just play the music and leave the egos at home. Never heard of Luther? You may not be a blues player. If you can't commit to staying for a year or so you aren't who I'm looking for. We practice regularly. We do this for fun, this is not our lively-hood.
