Tanner Consulting, LLC, a Tulsa based civil engineering, land surveying, planning and landscape architecture firm, is seeking qualified applicants for an instrument survey position. Must have an Oklahoma driver’s license but NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Only request is the employee show up every day at start time of 7am. Typical day is 7am-4pm. This 40 hour/week position deals with all aspects of surveying and provides an excellent opportunity for career development. Job duties can include: Conduct physical site surveys using a variety of equipment and tools. Prepare sketches and notes, and perform electronic data collection. Coordinate field staff and process field data. Interface with civil engineers, landscape architects, and planners. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. Calculate areas of land parcels and easements using mathematics and computer software. Research previous survey evidence, including maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys. Prepare site surveying documents and present findings to clients.
