Do you have experience leading a 3-5 person crew? Do you enjoy working outdoors in a landscaping environment? Do you have knowledge of native plants and weed species? We have an excellent opportunity for a Landscaping Lead! JOB SUMMARY Provide leadership to landscape construction, restoration, and maintenance of native habitats and drought-tolerant landscapes. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES Monitor crew work assignments Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work Removal of unwanted plant material (weed removal) Assistance with grading and leveling soil Digging and compaction of irrigation trenches Assistance with the installation of irrigation systems Planting of trees and shrubs (seeds, cutting, container stock) Assistance with installing fencing Assist employees in accomplishing the assigned tasks Collection and installation of seed and cuttings Maintain care and upkeep of equipment and tools Maintain accurate logs and reports Ability to operate equipment Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner Work Safely Please call 310-974-3400 for more info or reply to this post!
