This is a 2-day workshop, taking place on January 7th and 21st from 6-8:30 PM.
Norwegian Rosemaling is a traditional Scandinavian folk art that originated in the late 1800’s. The class will include demonstrations and plenty of hands-on practice. Participants will learn the traditional colors and style of this unique art form.
Students will be provided with all the supplies and materials needed to practice strokes and complete a project on a wooden circular plaque or a large wooden serving plate. Art and painting experience is recommended, but beginners are welcome. Ages 15 and up.
$70 per person, ticket pays for 2 sessions and your supplies. Walk-ins welcome!
Pam Day is an artist, selling yarn & hosting classes at Glädje. Art is a life-long passion for Pam. She has been interested in and creating art since she was a little girl. She has been teaching classes for over twelve years in rosemaling, knitting, glass fusing, painting, felting, alcohol ink and more.
