Hello my family and I are living in a hotel with limited resources. Every few weeks I run out of money to pay for our room and I just about have a nervous breakdown until it gets paid. I’m doing the best I can. I work full time and my oldest son gets disability and every penny goes to keeping us housed or me getting to work. I’ve called the Homeless Coalition of Polk county no help. Shelters here won’t take us because my autistic son is 20 so he is to old. I’ve even called DCF and they didn’t help either.
