"A Jazzy Christmas" is underwritten by Paul Rosser (Chick-fil-A, Lynnwood) and designed to simply encourage Puget Sound Pastors A Jazzy Christmas is an evening for Pastors and Pastoral Staff to bring their spouses to a holiday event. The evening will be encouraging and fun-filled. Featuring live, seasonal jazz music and clean comedy by Piper Ditzler and Darryl Kuntz (see below), this will be a holiday highlight for all who take advantage of this gift. The cost is a simple donation of a child's Christmas gift (for local charities). The banquet hall will be decorated with a classy, Christmas feel, glassware, etc. In other words, this is a chance for a date night you can be proud of or to just come on your own to be with friends and co-workers in Christ. DRESS: Christmas Casual (business casual with a Christmas emphasis) Spouses are welcome. Invite pastoral staff and spouses as well. Darryl Kuntz has appeared on stages all across America with his unique brand of music and comedy, including Disneyland, the Delta Queen Steamboat, state fairs, conventions and a variety of theaters. He taught theater at the college level, wrote and starred in three children’s television series and produced 8 Christian films including the major motion picture Dakota. He has also served as musical director for the Diamond Circle Theatre and as a guest artist and Master of Ceremonies at a wide range of events. He is currently in his 6th year as writer and director of a comedy stage production in San Carlos, Mexico benefitting a local health and ambulatory clinic. A soprano with a nearly 3 octave range, Piper Ditzler has a BA Degree in Vocal Music Performance and has performed in a wide variety of classical venues, soloing with the San Juan Symphony in New Mexico and Colorado, singing with the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra, and performing as a studio artist with the Anchorage Opera. She has also performed professionally in a wide variety of venues and genres including jazz and bluegrass. Her favorite adventures include writing music and lyrics and flight-seeing with her husband in their Cessna 170! Piper is currently serving as Worship Pastor and is co-leading the Student Ministry at Northwest Church.
