Blake is an otherwise healthy and spunky 6yr old. The mass on his kidney was discovered due to him falling off his scooter and needing to go the ER for pain related to the fall. When they performed a CT scan; they discovered a moms worse nightmare. He was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor on his right kidney 09/18. The tumor was soft ball sized and pushing on his other organs to make room to grow. The tumor ruptured causing bleeding in his abdomen. He has undergone surgery to remove the tumor on 9/20. They ended up having to remove his right kidney and appendix as well. Blake is going to have to receive Chemotherapy treatments and well as radiation treatments for the next year. This is going to be a long and hard journey for our family but we just want our healthy boy back!
