This will be an interactive book signing hosted by the author! There will be performances from the book. there is limited seating! Originally created and performed as a stageplay back in 2018 and 2019, "Black Matter" is a commentary on Black lives and Black taboos such as abuse, Black on Black crime, Black mental health, the Black LGBTQIA community, the plight of Black woman, and so much more. The author, Aubrey-Simone Williams re-writes the cutting edge play as a memoir that describes her life's journey and thought process for the powerful monologues and spoken word poetry exhibited in the play. Scenes from the play are excluded from this publication.
