Pompano Boy screened at Indiana's own 2021 Heartland International Film Festival and was written by the filmmaker in Bloomington while a resident 2018-2019. Davis previously played his debut feature Palace at the Buskirk Chumley Theater in 2019, which was called a "bittersweet love letter to rural Indiana" by whatzup.
Logline: A conflicted minister reckons with his marriage and a new foster child. Meanwhile the foster child's mother tries to get her son back, her past coming back to haunt her.
