A Children's Habitat Montessori Open House Are you or is someone you know curious about some or all of the programs at A Children's Habitat? Maybe you're considering our elementary program and want to know more. This is a great time to tour the school and any individual classroom you're curious about while meeting some of our fantastic teachers and parents. Due to social distancing parameters, time in individual classrooms may be limited. Masks must be worn in the building. A Children’s Habitat Montessori is the longest, continuously-running Montessori school in Indianapolis, serving children ages 18 months through 12 years. The community of students, parents, and educators share in the mission to enrich minds and build community, guided by the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. The school frames its identity and centers its decision-making using six core values: The Montessori Method, Joyful Learning, Community, Diversity, Peace Education, and Stewardship.
