A Sensory-Friendly Holiday Event The holidays are a magical time for families to experience the wonder of Santa and to create heartfelt memories together. Understanding that children with sensory sensitivities may require a more customized experience, Lindale Mall will offer Sensitive Santa®, a sensory-friendly holiday event, on Sunday Dec. 5th from 9:30am-10:30am. During Sensitive Santa, families will have the opportunity to meet Santa prior to the town center opening for a quieter, more subdued experience, with the opportunity to support Autism Speaks. With each purchase of a photo with Santa, a portion/percentage of proceeds will be donated to support the mission of Autism Speaks’ important research and advocacy. Lindale Mall is Cedar Rapid’s premier shopping destination. The town center is home to more than 100 national and local retail, dining, and entertainment options, as well as numerous events and activities throughout the year. A dynamic offering of things to do along with things to buy keeps guests engaged and returning often.
