We are currently seeking a full-time Equipment Mechanic in the Port Neches area. A qualified individual must be able to operate, repair and maintain our equipment fleet which includes, but is not limited to, backhoes, tractors and vehicles. The job is expected to pay between $20-$22/ hour depending on experience. Required Skills and Qualifications; ● Diesel and hydraulics knowledge ● Electrical knowledge ● Small engine knowledge ● Welding experience preferred ● Must possess own tools ● Heavy equipment operation: Tractor, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Motor Grader, etc. ● Moving heavy equipment on trailers ● General maintenance ● Other duties as assigned ● Some travel may be required Other Qualifications: ● Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision ● Self-organized and self-motivated ● Track record of dependability ● Must demonstrate a strong work ethic ● Capable of making sound judgements ● Attention to detail ● Ability to take and follow instructions well ● Availability to work flexible shift which may include weekends and holidays, as scheduled ● You will be required to pass a drug screen and background check. ● You will need to have a good driving record. ● You will need proper authorization to work in the United States. ● Must be personable and professional ● Ability to communicate effectively in English ● High school diploma or its equivalent Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 /hour depending on experience If you are looking for more than just 9-5 and have the drive and show pride in what you do, please respond with a resume.
