A locally sourced tasting featuring fresh and organic produce and meats with signature courses created by Chef Malik Williams. Our Farmers Panel features Golden Organic Farm, Hill Family Farm and Conetoe Family Farm, starts at 4pm, discussing funding, grain initiative and collaboration with Farmers on the African continent. The Farm to Fork tasting follows at 5pm with a Farmers Market and the annual Smokestack Holiday Lighting at 6:30pm sponsored by OIC. Join us! Harlem Brewing Company presented the first ever beer festival to highlight Black Brewers during the Harlem Brew Festival in Harlem (NYC) in 2017. It went on to support the FreshFest (now Barrel & Flow in Pittsburgh) and co-produced the inaugural Blacktober Beer Fest, again highlighting Black Beer Culture and Hospitality in the historic City of Rocky Mount, NC. The 2021 Blacktober in the Garden (Rocky Mount, NC) was a continuation of our commitment to celebrate our collective heritage and contributions to craft beer and culinary history in America and Abroad! Farm to Fork, celebrates the plight and possibilities for Black Farmers (95% of which are located in the South) including establishing a Community Malt initiative, a collaboration with Riverbend Malt which focuses crop diversification and establishing grain growing initiatives. In 2022, we look forward to kicking off a series of events focused on craft, community and equity. Through a series of collaborative events at the Harlem Brew South historic Tobacco Warehouse , we look forward to creating memorable and empowering experiences for all. Cheers!
