The young, fast-growing category of American Single Malt is gaining steam in both spirits aisles and on back bars across the country. While American single malt distillers produce a fraction of the volume of their Scottish counterparts, there are now 170 single malt distilleries in production in the U.S., more than in Scotland, which has 120. Join Sharon - Spirit Specialist from Quench Distributors and Mark - Head Distiller from Whiskey Del Bac as they host a taste and talk symposium about the American Whiskey category and how it is evolving. We’ll share different styles and techniques that distilleries are using and discover why this category is bringing back the artistry of whiskey making. Seats are limited and all attendees must be 21+.
Please arrive approximately 5 minutes prior to your tour start time for check in.
A few things to remember:
During warmer/colder months it can get quite hot/cold in the distillery, so please dress accordingly!
Close-toed shoes are recommended.
We have two distillery cats, Masher and Two-Row. They’re very friendly, but please be wary of this if you cannot tolerate cats.
